Methodology
Our approach is very practical and we always remember that the most effective form of the knowledge transfer involves human interaction. We avoid big reports, spending instead more time for the interaction with the client and the local management team. For us, the biggest value, when our recommendations are implemented into practice and bring positive results.
We prefer working with the local partner, for example, a local consulting company, because we believe that adaptation of the international best practices to the local traditions is the key challenge in all experience sharing projects.
Key elements of InnoPraxis methodology

- Desk studies (done jointly with the local partners, whom we set the tasks what should be analyzed, where to pay attention, based on our knowledge of the most typical bottlenecks)
- Interviews (we have specific models helping to identify the the hidden areas; our experts interview the key stakeholders and the companies in face to face meetings; telephone and online based interviews are used mainly for a bigger auditorium)
- Workshops (we use the workshops in many ways, to analyze existing challenges, to develop joint vision and strategy plans or to design physical infrastructure; we see the workshops as good tool to create an interaction instead of one-way communication from the consultant to the client).
- Trainings in Finland and abroad (we use trainings as the main tool in our consultations; we also offer trainings as the separate product, which are typically orientation or thematic trainings for different stakeholders, covering in a 2-3 days program the various aspects on the innovation system)
